ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul condemned on Thursday the terrorist attacks which took place in three trains in Madrid in morning hours killing many people.
Referring to the bomb attacks in Spain prior to his joint news conference with Secretary of Foreign Affairs Delia Domingo-Albert of Philippines, Gul said that both Turkey and Philippines, as two countries which suffered from terrorism, felt deep sorrow over the attack. ''We strongly condemn the attacks,'' Gul said.
Delia Domingo-Albert said in his part that he was very sorry about the train blasts in Spain, stating that more international cooperation had to be made in fight with terrorism.
