President Sezer Sends Condolence Message To Spanish King Carlos

ANKARA - President Ahmet Necdet Sezer sent on Thursday a condolence message to Spanish King Juan Carlos I after terrorist attacks which were staged in Spanish capital Madrid this morning.
A statement of Presidential Press Center said that Sezer expressed deep sorrow over death of many people in the bomb attacks which were staged on three trains in Madrid.
The statement quoted Sezer as saying that Turkish nation shared deep sorrow and indignation of the Spanish people.
In his message, Sezer expressed condolences to Spanish King Juan Carlos I, friendly Spanish people and relatives of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks in Madrid and wished quick recovery for the injured.
Powerful explosions rocked three Madrid train stations earlier on Thursday just three days before Spain`s general elections, killing more than 170 rush-hour commuters and wounding more than 500 in what officials called Spain`s worst terrorist attack ever.
