ANKARA - Banks' credit volume increased 1 quadrillion 36.3 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 60 quadrillion 212.1 trillion TL between February 20 and 27, 2004.
The total credit volume at banks was 59 quadrillion 175.8 trillion TL on February 20.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 806.9 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 508.6 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 136.6 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 52 quadrillion 783.3 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 719.5 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
