ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by 582 billion U.S. dollars between February 27 and March 5, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 33 billion 381 million U.S. dollars on February 27 decreased to 32 billion 799 million U.S. dollars on March 5.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations decreased 277 million U.S. dollars from 12 billion 906 million U.S. dollars to 12 billion 629 million U.S. dollars between February 13 and 20.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations increased 250 million U.S. dollars from 48 billion 522 million U.S. dollars to 48 billion 772 million U.S. dollars between February 13 and 20.
