'Suspect device' found on man arrested at Glasgow airport

GLASGOW - Scottish police partly evacuated a hospital after a "suspect device" was found on a man arrested with severe burns after an attack at Glasgow airport, police said Saturday.
At a news conference Strathclyde Police Chief Constable Willie Rae refused to respond to a question about whether the device was a suicide belt, but added: "It was on his person."
The Royal Alexandra Hospital in nearby Paisley, where the man was taken, was partly evacuated for a time after the device was discovered.
"It was removed and taken to a safe place.... It is still the subject of examination," he added.
