Neumann Holds A Series Of Meetings

ANKARA - The delegation headed by Ron Neumann, the American foreign relations director of Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) in Iraq, has held technical meetings at the Foreign Trade Undersecretariat.
Sources told the A.A correspondent on Wednesday that Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade Undersecretariat directorates general of agreements, export and import, Customs Undersecretariat and Turkish Petroleum Corp officials were also in attendance at the meetings.
During the meetings, problems in commercial relations between Turkey and Iraq were taken up. The delegations will continue holding meetings tomorrow.
Neuman came to Ankara yesterday upon directives of U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell to inform Turkish officials on contents of Iraqi new interim constitution and exchange views over economic issue.
Earlier in the day, Neuman met with Ministry of Foreign Affairs Deputy Undersecretary Alev Kilic.
Iraqi technical officials have been accompanying Neumann.
