EDIRNE - Police confiscated on Tuesday 170 kilograms of heroin hidden in a truck which was about to leave Turkey from Kapikule Border Gate in northwestern Edirne province.
Police found 170 kilograms of heroin hidden in the truck en route from southern Antalya province to the Netherlands which was carrying vegetables.
Driver of the truck was detained.
The heroin had a market value of eight trillion Turkish liras (TL).
A full investigation is under way.
