Gul: Interim Constitution Of Iraq Enables Turkmens To Give Education In Schools In Their Own Language

ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Tuesday that the interim constitution of Iraq enabled Turkmens to give education in the schools in their own language.
Gul, who attended a program live broadcast on private NTV channel, replied to a question on interim constitution of Iraq.
Turkmens could open schools giving education in their own language under that constitution, Gul said.
Gul noted that the former draft did not provide the Turkmens with that opportunity.
