ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Tuesday that Turkey was aware of its own responsibilities in countering the terrorist organization PKK/KADEK in Iraq.
Gul, who attended a program live broadcast on private NTV channel, said that Turkey would not stop that fight against the terrorist organization, trusting others.
Replying to a question about commitment of the United States to fight against the terrorist organization PKK, Gul said that they did not accept the approach that ''my terrorist is bad and your terrorist is good.''
Gul stated that Turkey was aware of its own responsibilities irrespective of how serious others took fight against the terrorist organization.
Nobody could trust the other one hundred percent, Gul noted.
Gul reiterated Turkey's expectation that PKK should be considered a terrorist organization in Iran and European Union (EU) member countries and stated that Iran had cooperation with Turkish authorities in that issue.
