Counter-terrorism Operations

HAKKARI/TUNCELI/ DIYARBAKIR - Six terrorists were killed in southeastern cities of Hakkari and Diyarbakir, and eastern city of Tunceli.
A clash erupted between Turkish security teams and a group of terrorists in rural area of Yuksekova in Hakkari. Three terrorists were killed in the clash.
On the other hand, terrorists attempted to stage an attack on Karsilar outpost in Ovacik town in Tunceli. Terrorists drove a fuel tanker toward the outpost, but the tanker exploded before they could approach. One terrorist and the driver died in the explosion.
In another operation in Silvan town of Diyarbakir, two terrorists were also killed.
