Omer Sabanci Decorated With Austria's Medal Of Merit

ISTANBUL - Omer Sabanci, member of executive board of Turkey's Sabanci Holding, was decorated with Austria's medal of merit.
Dr. Hans Winkler, Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Austria, presented the medal of merit to Sabanci in a ceremony that was held in Austria's Consulate General in Yenikoy district in Istanbul.
Winkler said that Sabanci served as honorary consul of Austria in southern city of Adana between 1991 and 2004, underlining that Sabanci contributed to economic relations between the two countries.
On the other hand, Omer Sabanci remarked that he was proud to be decorated with this medal.
