ZONGULDAK/ADANA - Demonstrations against terrorism were held in Black Sea city of Zonguldak and southern city of Adana, on Saturday.
Citizens, families of martyries, members of NGOs and representatives from political parties attended "Unity Against terrorism western Black Sea meeting" organized by Black Sea Platform of Kemalist Thought Association (ADD).
Participation was not very high due to hot weather and low interest from neighbouring cities. Slogans against terrorism were voiced at the event.
On the other hand, southern city of Adana hosted "Curse Terror, respect martyr, claim your country" demonstration.
Well-attended meeting in Adana was organized by Public Workers' Labor Union (Kamu-Sen). Participants condemned terror. Kamil Kose, provincial representative of Kamu-Sen, stressed unity and criticized the government for being insensible to the issue of terrorism.
