Turkey Donates In 2006 780 Million U.S.D. In Development, Humanitarian Aid

ANKARA - As a major international donor, Turkey donated in 2006 near 750 million USD in development aid and over 30 million USD in humanitarian aid, diplomatic sources indicated.
Turkey's donations covered a vast geography reaching to the least developed countries, Afghanistan, countries of Caucasus, Oceania and the Caribbeans in cash and in kind.
