Kretschmer: Turkey Makes Reforms On Becoming Liberal Like E.U. Countries

DIYARBAKIR - Hansjorg Kretschmer, the head of the European Commission Representation to Turkey, has said that Turkey had been making reforms on becoming liberal like the European Union (EU) member countries.
Kretschmer who came to southeastern province of Diyarbakir, visited Diyarbakir Governor Nusret Miroglu on Monday.
Replying to questions of reporters after the meeting which was close to press, Kretschmer said that he paid visits of provinces in the region to observe functioning of the laws and reforms adopted by the parliament, stressing that there had been positive developments in Turkey.
