Arinc: Parliament Will Decide At Last Stage Of Cyprus Issue

MANISA - Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc said on Monday that the parliament would make a decision at the last stage of Cyprus issue.
Arinc told reporters that the parliament would take a decision at the last stage of Cyprus issue as a requirement of the Constitution.
''The 90th Article of the Constitution says that the parliament should approve any international agreement to be signed by the government of Turkey. Therefore, the parliament will pass a law approving talks between two nations in Cyprus, negotiations also attended by guarantor states, and the referendum and signatures, and the agreement to be signed at the end of all this process. I believe that our parliament will make the most appropriate decision about this very important issue,'' Arinc added.
