ANKARA - International Monetary Fund (IMF) Turkey Desk Chief Reza Moghadam met on Saturday with State Minister Ali Babacan.
Moghadam and Babacan took up developments in the seventh review.
IMF delegation is expected to meet with concerned ministers this week to discuss economic measures taken within the framework of the seventh review.
Last week, the delegation focused on issues like strengthening public finance in the long term, strengthening budget management and tax collection, reducing finance deficit in social security system, increasing efficiency and independence of Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) and Savings and Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF).
Meanwhile, IMF delegation is expected to depart from Turkey on March 12 as earlier planned.
