ISTANBUL - National Education Minister Huseyin Celik left for Austria on Saturday upon the invitation of Austrian Minister for Education, Science and Culture.
Celik held a news conference in Istanbul's Ataturk Aiport prior to his departure and said he would have meetings aiming to search for facilities to have more cooperation between Turkey and Austria in every field of education.
Stating that there was not education and culture agreement between the two countries, Celik said many Turkish citizens were working in this country. He said, ''we have workers and students there. There are several problems regarding the education of Turkish children. We will be in an effort to improve cooperation and lay groundwork for agreements in highest levels.''
