ANKARA - Turkey-France political consultations will be held in Ankara next week under the leadership of Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal and French Foreign Ministry Secretary General Hubert Colin de Verdiere.
A Foreign Ministry statement noted on Friday that Turkey-EU relations, bilateral relations, economic, cultural, consular relations, Cyprus issue, regional and international issues would be taken up in the meeting to be held on March 8.
Ziyal and Verdiere will also sign the updated application appendix of Turkey-France 2000 Action Plan within the scope of consultations. Action Plan was signed between the two countries in 1998 which brought a strategical dimension to Turkish-French relations.
