ERZURUM - A British tourist, who was trapped under the avalanche in Palandoken Skiing Center in eastern province of Erzurum, died on Friday.
Sources told A.A correspondent that five Canadian and British tourists were trapped under the avalanche in Palandoken Skiing Center, one of the most important winder tourism facilities in Turkey.
While four of them survived the avalanche, Alasdair Ros, 60, died.
Search and rescue teams recovered body of Ros.
All facilities in Palandoken were closed to skiing against another threat of avalanche.
Sources added that strong wind in the region might cause the avalanche.
