BERLIN - Turkey takes part in the tourism fair held in Nuremberg, Germany namely ''Nurnberg Freizeit'' with its stand area of 100 square meters.
Antalya governor Alaattin Yuksel, Antalya mayor Bekir Kumbul, Kemer mayor Hasan Seker and Tourism Ministry deputy director general of promotion Volkan Bozay also attended the fair on Friday.
Bavaria state's interior minister Guenter Beckstein opened the fair and he also visited the Turkish stand. In the internet site of the fair Turkey is promoted as a modern, democratic country which is open to the world.
The Turkish stand promotes touristic sites like Marmaris, Kemer, Side and Kas in Turkey. Approximately 200,000 visitors are expected to visit the fair, which will be open until March 7, Sunday.
