Cummins comes to Turkey for production with Cukurova Group

Giant engine producer Cummins decided to invest for diesel engine production in Turkey with BMC. With an investment of $100 million, Euro 4 and 5 norm diesel engine will be produced.

World's eminent diesel engine producer Cummins and Turkey's automotive producer with 100% domestic capital BMC agreed to make investment in Turkey. Cummins chairman of the board of directors Tim Solso and chairman of Cukurova Group board of directors Mehmet Emin Karamehmet shook hands to produce diesel engine in Turkey.

BMC and Cummings will produce diesel engine conforming to Euro 4 and 5 norms with an investment of $100 million. So, BMC will produce the trucks and buses conforming to Euro 4 and 5 norms which will be obligatory as of 2009.
