ANKARA - Banks' credit volume increased 375 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 59 quadrillion 175.8 trillion TL between February 13-20, 2004.
The total credit volume at banks was 58 quadrillion 800.8 trillion TL on February 13.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 842.6 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 502.1 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 136.3 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 51 quadrillion 735.1 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 702.6 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
