ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by 1.204 billion U.S. dollars between February 20 and 27, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 34 billion 585 million U.S. dollars on February 20 decreased to 33 billion 381 million U.S. dollars on February 27.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations decreased 322 million U.S. dollars from 13 billion 432 million U.S. dollars to 12 billion 906 million U.S. dollars between February 6-13.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations increased 16 million U.S. dollars from 48 billion 506 million U.S. dollars to 48 billion 522 million U.S. dollars between February 6-13.
