ANKARA - The parliament will have a fifteen-day recess due to local elections on March 28.
Sources said on Thursday that ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) and main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) parliamentary groups agreed to recess the parliament for fifteen days beginning on March 9 and they prepared an Advisory Committee motion to this end.
The parliament was expected to convene again on March 30, sources added.
