ANKARA - State Minister Kursad Tuzmen will leave for Syria on Thursday.
Sources told the A.A correspondent on Wednesday that 250 businessmen would accompany Tuzmen during the visit organized jointly by the Foreign Trade Undersecretariat and the Southeast Anatolian Exporters' Association.
State Minister Tuzmen will first partake in a luncheon to be hosted in his honor by the governor of Aleppo.
Tuzmen and the accompanying delegation will proceed to Damascus on Friday.
They are scheduled to hold talks with some Syrian ministers and high-level officials.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is expected to receive Tuzmen.
During the visit, the sides will hold talks about signing of a Free Trade Agreement, establishment of border trade centers and the other issues which were brought onto agenda during the visit of Syrian President al-Assad to Turkey in January.
Tuzmen and the accompanying delegation are expected to return to Turkey on Sunday.
