Security Forces Intercept 254 Illegal Migrants

FETHIYE/EDIRNE/DIKILI - Security forces intercepted 254 illegal migrants in Fethiye town of the western city of Mugla, the northwestern city of Edirne and Dikili town of the western city of Izmir on Monday.
In Fethiye, security forces captured 155 migrants as they were trying to proceed to European countries illegally by a boat.
Security forces intercepted 122 migrants in Edirne as they were trying to pass the border illegally.
In Izmir, 17 migrants were captured as they were heading to European countries by boats.
The migrants of Iraqi, Palestinian, Georgian, Burman, Somalian, Pakistani, Indian, Moroccan, Eritrean and Iranian were detained for violating Turkish borders and passport law.
They will be deported once the legal proceedings are completed.
