Garanti Bankasi To Issue Credit Cards With China

ISTANBUL - Garanti Bankasi of Turkey has signed an agreement with China Union Pay (CUP) to issue credit cards for over one billion consumers in China.
190 banks in the People`s Republic of China are members of the CUP, the national payments network. With the latest agreement, Garanti Bankasi became the first European bank to sign an agreement with CUP.
Tourists and businessmen visiting China will be able to utilize their Bonus Business, Bonus Personal and Garanti Paracard credit cards conveniently thanks to the new agreement between Garanti and CUP.
On the other hand, Chinese tourists and businessmen visiting Turkey will be able to use their credit cards at all Garanti automated teller machines. Garanti ATMs have special menus in Chinese.
