ISTANBUL - "Entrepreneurs expect political matters not to have an impact on reforms. Everybody agrees that progress has been recorded. However, we need sustainable stability and reforms," World Bank`s Regional Vice President Shiego Katsu said on Monday.
Responding to the questions of reporters at the 4th Meeting of the Turkish Investment Advisory Council held in Istanbul, Katsu said high ranking executives of foreign companies gathered at the occasion of the Council meeting. "The meeting was very constructive and fruitful," he remarked.
Asked what the biggest impediments in front of foreign investors in Turkey were, Katsu said macro stability could be ensured, however rate of inflation was still very high.
Indicating that developments in Turkey were not much known in Turkey, Katsu said, "Turkey should position itself strongly in international relations. Friendly arrangements should be done for the investors."
