ANKARA - The Turkish Linguistics Board (TDK) will host meetings designed to foster cooperation with Kazakhstan in language matters.
Delegations from both Turkey and Kazakhstan will meet until June 15th in Ankara and discuss issues as the history of alphabets in the Turkic world, alphabets during the Ottoman and Republic of Turkey era, Ataturk's reform in language, the implementation of new alphabet in the Republic of Turkey, possible problems that may be encountered in Kazakhstan with the use of a new alphabet and the alphabet to be used in Kazakh Turkish.
