Commanders Of British Royal Navy In Izmir

IZMIR - Commanders of the British Royal Navy`s war vessels, which arrived in Turkey to participate in a field exercise in the Marmara Sea, paid a visit to Izmir port as well.
Receiving the commanders and British Consul in Izmir Willy Buttigieg on Monday, Izmir Mayor Aziz Kocaoglu expressed his happiness for hosting the British Royal Navy in Aegean city of Izmir.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Chris Davies from the British Navy indicated that Izmir was their second stop in Turkey.
Davies stressed that they found Izmir quite interesting, moreover, they were quite pleased with the hospitality they have experienced in the city.
