ANKARA - "Giant investment banks are getting more and more interested in Turkish capital market each passing day," Turan Erol, the Deputy Chairman of the Capital Market Board (SPK), said on Monday.
Many significant investment institutions like Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, UBS and Credit Suisse have entered Turkish capital market in recent years, Erol told A.A correspondent.
"Foreign investors have made not only portfolio investments but also direct investments in intermediary institutions," he commented.
Twenty-nine of 98 intermediary institutions have foreign partners from America, Europe and Middle East, Erol added.
