GUL SENDS MESSAGES OF CONDOLENCES
ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul sent messages of condolences to Iraqi officials over the deadly attacks in Baghdad and Kerbala on Tuesday.
Sources said that Gul sent messages to Iraq Interim Governing Council member Abdulaziz al-Hekim, Iraq's Shiites spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, Ibrahim al-Caferi, one of the leaders of the Shiite al-Dava Party, and Iraq's Oil Minister Ibrahim Mohammad Bahr-ul Ulum, expressing his sorrow over the incidents.
