Baykal Is Pleased With The Candidate List

ANKARA - Candidate list of Republican Peoples` Party (CHP) is very balanced, said Deniz Baykal, chairman of CHP on Tuesday.
Baykal assessed CHP`s candidate list that has been delivered to Higher Board of Election (YSK) on Monday.
After stating that their only concern was regional balance and the need for change when preparing the lists Baykal said, "our list of candidates is very balanced, there are no sulks."
Baykal continued saying the next step is the preparation of election manifesto, where the party will determine concrete targets regarding economy.
Chairman of CHP said due to hot weather conditions prior to the general election that is scheduled to be held on July 22nd, they are considering to organize demonstrations at night.
Night meetings were previously held in Greece however they are legally not possible in Turkey. Baykal said they might consider organizing concerts at stadiums where leaders can address the crowd.
