U.N. Decorates Kosovo Turkish Police Force With Service Medal

PRISTINA - United Nations decorated a 84-contingent Turkish police force in Kosovo with meritorious service medal at a ceremony held on Tuesday.
Turkish police have been participating in the UN mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) since 1999.
The force has also trained 185 members of the Kosovo police on countering organized crimes, smuggling and illicit drug trafficking.
