ANTALYA - Society of Design and Process Science (SDPS), a Texas-based society, presented its "Academy Gold Medal of Honor" to Turkish professor Oktay Sinanoglu for his distinguished contribution to the advancement of Transdisciplinary Foundational ideas and activities.
Sinanoglu received his award at the 10th International Conference on Integrated Design and Process Technology (IDPT) organized by SDPS in southern city of Antalya, Turkey.
IDPT conferences bring together each year a number of distinguished scientists, engineers, managers from academia, government and business involved in the exploration and utilization of integrated design and process methodologies and techniques applicable to real-world problems.

-SINANOGLU, AMERICA`S YOUNGEST PROFESSOR-
Born in 1935, professor Oktay Sinanoglu is a Turkish scientist of theoretical chemistry and molecular biology. At age 28, he became the youngest person in 20th century at Yale University to attain status of full professor.
He theorized the "Many-Electron Theory of Atoms and Molecules" in 1962 by solving a mathematical theorem that had been unsolved for 50 years.
He devoted himself to better education and purified language in Turkey.
