KAYSERI - The Turkish- Romanian Joint Airborne Commando Exercise took place in central Anatolian province of Kayseri on Tuesday.
Turkish and Romanian air commandoes jumped from two C-160 and one C-130 military planes. Upon landing, the commandoes conducted land operations. The military planes dropped equipment and food materials on locations where they landed.
115 Turkish and 30 Romanian commandoes took part in the exercise.
Turkish-Romanian Joint Airborne Commando Exercise takes place every year since 2003. The exercise is designed to promote friendly relations and cooperation among Turkey and Romania.
