ISTANBUL - "I hope there will be more woman MPs at our parliament," Arzuhan Dogan Yalcindag, the Chairperson of Turkish Industrialists` & Businessmen`s Association (TUSIAD), said on Tuesday.
"All the (political) parties have behaved sensitively, and we hope we will see its reflections in our parliament," she commented on the number of female MP candidates in the lists dressed by the political parties. The lists were submitted to the Higher Board of Election (YSK) on Monday.
"I hope that it will be a more compromising parliament," she stated on possible impact of more woman MPs.
Yalcindag later participated in the "Winners` Conference 2007", organized jointly by European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and Kalder (Quality Ass.), in Istanbul.
