ANKARA - Iraqi Turkmen Front (ITF) Chairman Faruk Abdullah Abdurrahman met on Friday with Foreign Ministry Deputy Undersecretary Ali Tuygan.
Following the meeting, Abdurrahman told reporters that he visited Turkey before his visits to Britain and Germany and added that he found opportunity to bring onto the agenda problems of Turkmens living in Iraq.
Abdurrahman underlined that rights of Turkmens should be taken under guaranty and stated that they expected Turkmens to be given the place that they deserved in the constitution draft.
Regarding the march of Turkmens in Iraq, Abdurrahman stated that their demonstrations would continue till their rights were given. Abdurrahman added that they would use every kind of democratic means to gain rights of Turkmens.
