ANKARA - Agreement on sale of liquor administration of state-run Tobacco and Liquor Administration (TEKEL) was signed on Friday.
The liquor administration of TEKEL was transferred to ''Nurol-Limak-Ozaltin-Tutsab Joint Enterprise Group''.
Officials told the A.A that half of 292 million U.S. dollars of tender was taken in cash and stated that the remaining would be paid in two installments in two years.
The tender about the privatization of TEKEL Liquor Industry and Trade Inc. was concluded on November 5, 2003.
The Higher Board of Privatization's decision on approval of the privatization was issued in the Official Gazette on December 23, 2003.
