SEZER: DEMISE OF TRAYKOVSKI IS A GRAVE LOSS FOR BOTH MACEDONIA AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY
ANKARA - President Ahmet Necdet Sezer has described demise of Macedonian President Boris Trajkovski in a plane crash as a grave loss for both Macedonia and the international community.
President Sezer sent a message of condolence to Vilma Trajkovski, the wife of President Boris Trajkovski, on Thursday.
In his message, President Sezer said, ''I am profoundly sorry to hear demise of President Boris Trajkovski in a plane crash. His demise is a grave loss for both Macedonia and the international community.''
He extended his condolences to Trajkovski's wife and relatives and to people of Macedonia.
President Boris Trajkovski was killed earlier in the day when his plane crashed in bad weather in mountainous southern Bosnia. President Trajkovski was en route to an international investment conference in the western Bosnian city of Mostar, when his plane with six other officials and two pilots went down near the village of Bitonja. There were no survivors.
