ANKARA - Foreign exchange deposit accounts at banks with letter of credit and super foreign exchange accounts increased 929 million U.S. dollars to 71 billion 716 million U.S. dollars between February 6 and 13, 2004.
According to Central Bank's provisional statistics, total foreign exchange deposit accounts at banks was 70 billion 787 million U.S. dollars on February 6.
Foreign exchange deposits increased 608 million U.S. dollars to 53 billion 985 million U.S. dollars in the same period.
Total internal foreign exchange deposits increased 454 million U.S. dollars to 51 billion 381 million U.S. dollars, and external foreign exchange deposits increased 154 million U.S. dollars to 2 billion 604 million U.S. dollars in the same period.
Meanwhile, total foreign exchange deposits at the interbank market increased 145 million U.S. dollars to 654 million U.S. dollars.
Foreign exchange deposits with letter of credit and super foreign exchange accounts decreased 140 million U.S. dollars to 17 billion 591 million U.S. dollars as of February 13.
