Talks On T.R.N.C.'s E.U. Adjustment To Start Soon Under U.N. Umbrella

LEFKOSA - The Council of Ministers of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) convened late on Wednesday under chairmanship of Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat.
TRNC Minister of Health and Social Assistance and Council of Ministers spokesman Huseyin Celal announced on Thursday that they had decided on a very important appointment at the meeting.
Celal said that talks aiming to provide the TRNC's adjustment into the European Union would start in near future under the United Nations umbrella.
Celal added that they appointed Ambassador Peker Turgud as the head of the delegation that would represent the TRNC in those talks.
