AYVALIK - Coast guard teams have found bodies of five people, who were among passengers of a boat, which capsized and sank off Ayvalik town of northwestern province of Balikesir two days ago.
Sources told the A.A correspondent on Thursday that coast guard teams had maintained their search-and-rescue efforts around Pinar Island off Ayvalik and recovered five more bodies, .
Thus, death toll increased to 20 in the accident, including eight women. It was revealed that the bodies were of Somalian and Senegalese origin.
Earlier, seven Somalian citizens were saved.
The search-and-rescue efforts have called off due to bad weather conditions in the area.
The boat carrying 30-35 people capsized and sank around Pinar Island off Ayvalik Tuesday.
