MOSCOW/ANKARA - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul said on Thursday that a difficult period requiring patience started on Cyprus talks. He said, ''we should not focus on polemics on Cyprus issue.''
Gul replied to questions of reporters aboard the plane on his return from Moscow.
When journalists reminded Gul the statements of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President Rauf Denktas of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Gul said, ''we should not focus on polemics. We should act altogether.''
