Erdogan: Points On Which Turkey Focuses Regarding Cyprus Issue Are Bi-zonality, Guarantor Rights And Smoother Border Lines

ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that he was shown as if he were the enemy of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Rauf Denktas, adding, ''on the contrary, we can only be political kinfolks.''
Erdogan said that the points on which Turkey focused on the Cyprus issue were bi-zonality, guarantor rights and smoother border lines.
Erdogan held a breakfast with reporters at the State Guest House in Ankara on Wednesday.
Stressing that the Cyprus issue should be resolved according to a ''win-and-win'' understanding, Erdogan said, ''we want negotiations to finish. We don't want the process to break off. We should not withdraw from the table. If one side should withdraw from the table, it should be the Greek Cypriot side. We altogether have to succeed in finalizing the negotiations successfully.''
Erdogan described the first two days of the negotiations as the ''entry period of wrestlers onto the wrestling field'' during which they make certain stylized gestures.
