ISTANBUL - Turkish Culture & Tourism Minister Atilla Koc said on Tuesday that Turkey has been exerting efforts to restore Turkish cultural heritage in foreign countries, especially in the Balkans.
"All countries have been helping us, except Greece," Koc lamented.
Inaugurating a hotel in Istanbul, Koc also said Istanbul has been a tourist attraction which could compete with world`s other major cities.
"Number of tourist visiting Istanbul each year is on the rise. But we need more hotels," he added.
