ISTANBUL - Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) hosted a delegation from Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) which is a think-tank organization based in New York and Washington DC.
DEIK officials briefed the delegation in Istanbul about Turkey`s export strategy, its relations with Middle East, Eurasia and EU, as well as Turkish economy and investment possibilities.
The visiting delegation arrived in Turkey on May 26th, and will proceed to Ankara after completing talks in Istanbul. The delegation will hold meetings with several ministers in the capital.
Among the members of CFR, there are almost all former and current presidents and state secretaries besides high-level officials as well as leading academicians, businessmen, media and NGOs of the United States.
The delegation will depart from Turkey on June 3rd.
