-TURKEY TO HAND A DIPLOMATIC NOTE TO USA

ANKARA - Turkish MFA will hand a diplomatic note to the United States in regard to violation of Turkish airspace by two U.S. warplanes, executives said on Tuesday.
MFA executives stated that the ministry is actually working on technical information about the violation, noting that U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Ross Wilson will be summoned to the ministry and a diplomatic note will be delivered to him, later on Tuesday.
Two U.S. F-16 jets violated for four minutes Turkish airspace over the southeastern Anatolia, on May 24th. On the other hand, U.S. officials said that it appeared that the violation was made inadvertently, adding that an investigation regarding the incident is underway.
