LEFKOSA - The fourth-day session of the new process of Cyprus talks was adjourned until 11 a.m. on Wednesday. The session was earlier scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Presidential Office said that today's session would start at 11 a.m.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs delegation, prior to today's session, met with the TRNC negotiating delegation comprising TRNC President Rauf Denktas, Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat, and Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktas.
Sources said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs delegation comprising Deputy Undersecretary Baki Ilkin, Ambassador Deniz Bolukbasi and Bilateral Political Affairs Director General Ertugrul Apakan had met with U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan's Special Envoy to Cyprus Alvaro De Soto last night.
Meanwhile, the meeting which was scheduled to be held this morning between TRNC Prime Minister Talat and Leopold Maurer who heads the EU delegation holding accession talks with the Greek Cypriot administration, was cancelled.
Sources said that the meeting might be held later between the TRNC Prime Ministry Undersecretary and Maurer.
