Parliament Adopts Third, Fourth Articles Of Constitutional Amendment Package

ANKARA - Parliament adopted Monday the third and fourth articles of a constitutional amendment package.
The fourth article, which allows for the popular election of the president for a 5+5 years term, was approved by 367 votes in favor and one against.
Parliament also approved by 363 to 3 against the third article which sets a quorum of at least one third of total number of MPs as a requirement for parliamentary sessions.
